Dear Friends of the Vineyards,
We have our first festival of 2016 under our belts! Tyler poured our wines in the 'Tasting Room' at the Northwest Ag Show in Portland. We didn't know what to expect, but we sold quite a bit of Baco and Pinot and Tyler got to network with several industry folks. All in all, we made a little money and got some great exposure for Elkton wines.
On February 12 and 13 I'll be pouring at Confluence in Reedsport, and Tyler will be pouring for River's Edge. Come see us there or at the Newport Seafood & Wine Festival on February 25-28.
We'll also be announcing the March Wine Club selections next week! We're planning a nice lunch in the Yurt for our members where we'll be serving homemade Mulligatawny soup, paired with our 2013 Riesling. If you want to try this yummy recipe, I've included it below (click for larger version). If you need the Riesling to complete the pairing, just let me know!
